Geoff Fitzpatrick is a certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator and guest teacher with Grof Transpersonal Training. He has studied psychology in Trinity College Dublin, and is a Graduate of the Milltown Institute of Theology where he studied spiritual enrichment.
Geoff was introduced to Mandalas while studying the pioneering work of Carl G Jung and has spent the past 20 years exploring the intersection of geometry, spirituality and psychology through these symbols. Working with Mandalas has opened Geoff to the profound power Sacred Geometry possesses to influence states of consciousness. He has an active interest in modern consciousness research. Geoff has been constructing mandalas for 10 years and is driven to promote the transformative potential of these sacred circles. Geoff has hosted over 50 MandalaNature© in-person workshops over the last decade in Ireland. The construction of sacred sand mandalas during Geoff’s Mandalanature© sessions opens people to a deeper aspect of themselves by blending creativity, geometry, and mindfulness in a unique and special way.

It is hard to imagine the scope of an individual life without envisioning some kind of trauma, and it is hard for most people to know what to do about it - Mark Epstein
MOST OF US HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME FORM OF TRAUMA IN OUR LIFETIME...
Surviving a pandemic, diagnosis and treatment of a medical illness, loss, abuse, addiction, violence, grief, social isolation, mental health challenges.... Trauma has the power to transform. However, it is some of the most difficult work a person can ever do.
Trauma can impact your body, your mind and your spirit.
Holotropic Breathwork is a journey of moving toward wholeness. In this workshop, we create a safe and supportive setting,
with highly trained and experienced Holotropic Breathwork certified facilitators, where you can begin to reconnect,
heal and regain connection to your body, yourself and life.
The New York Times described Holotropic Breathwork as an effective way to heal yourself and improve mood. The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork can include releasing and healing trauma, improving anxiety and depression, higher insights of spiritual understanding, increased connection to self and others, and opening to compassion and love. Holotropic Breathwork™ is a powerful experiential breathing process that allows for self- exploration and healing. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of consciousness. This state activates
the natural inner healing potential of the breather which guides the experience.

Healing the Hungry Ghost of Addictions: The Spiritual Quest for Wholeness
A Holotropic Breathwork Workshop
You are invited to join us for this special topics workshop on addictions.
The workshop is open to anyone who is in recovery from addiction or whose life has been touched by addiction.
It is also open to anyone interested in experiencing Holotropic Breathwork.
We will be talking about addictions from a Holotropic perspective based on the groundbreaking work of
Stan and Christina Grof. This approach explores the perinatal, biographical and transpersonal influences
that can contribute to addictive behaviors. In addition, we will explore the role of attachment, attunement and
trauma in the development of addictions.
Stan and Christina Grof's perspective on addiction emphasizes:
Spiritual Crisis: Addiction can be a manifestation of a deeper spiritual or existential crisis.
Desire for Transcendence: Addicts have a strong, albeit often unrecognized, need for transcendence.
Transpersonal Exploration: Transpersonal therapy and practices like Holotropic Breathwork can help
individuals access deeper levels of the psyche to explore and resolve underlying issues contributing to addiction.
Healing and Integration: Accessing non-ordinary states of consciousness can facilitate healing and integration of traumatic experiences, leading to a greater sense of wholeness and well-being.
The workshop includes 4 Holotropic Breathwork sessions (two as a breather/two as a sitter), sound bath, nature-based healing practices, sharing circles, mask making and an evening fire ceremony and healing practice. Price includes workshop, three nights housing and 9 home cooked meals by our private chef.

Lisa Gilbert, MD has long been fascinated by extraordinary experiences—her own and those shared by others. As a board-certified psychiatrist with decades of clinical practice, she cultivated a gift for working with trauma survivors, many of whom described profound nonordinary states of consciousness. By honoring these stories and embracing deep psychospiritual inquiry, Lisa helped clients move beyond symptom relief toward lasting wholeness.
Her personal healing journey through Holotropic Breathwork® (HB) involved trauma recovery, expanded states of awareness, and encounters with shamanic and transpersonal phenomena. During this process, she trained directly with Stanislav Grof, MD, the creator of Holotropic Breathwork® and a pioneer in transpersonal psychology and psychedelic research. Lisa later became certified in both Holotropic Breathwork® and Dreamshadow® Transpersonal Breathwork.
Soul Can You is her first book: a shamanic offering rooted in lived experience, sacred transformation, and the mystery of the soul’s unfolding. What if your trauma held the key to your transformation? In Soul Can You, Lisa offers a deeply personal—and profoundly mystical—exploration of trauma, healing, and spiritual awakening through expanded states of consciousness. Drawing from her own experiences with Holotropic Breathwork® and nonordinary states, she invites readers to answer the soul’s call to heal, awaken, and reconnect. Lisa weaves decades of clinical insight with ancestral wisdom and raw lived experience, guiding readers through the terrain of childhood trauma, spiritual emergence, and the longing for wholeness. It explores the soul’s journey from fragmentation to reconnection with the Higher Self—and reveals how true healing is not only recovery, but also transcendence.

Aimon Kopera, MD, is a trailblazing leader in mind-body medicine. A fearless explorer of consciousness and the human experience, Dr. Aimon brings over 30 years in epigenetics, mysticism and plant medicine. She has worked across diverse disciplines, including lifestyle medicine, psycho-spiritual health and consciousness exploration. Early in her career, she served with the United Nations medical team. As Thailand’s leading expert in psychedelic medicine, Dr. Aimon is a MAPS-certified therapist and has trained under the Grof® Legacy Training program based on Stan Grof’s research into psychedelic therapy, Holotropic Breathwork, transpersonal psychology and spiritual emergency. Her work integrates techniques that guide individuals on a transformative path of self-discovery, healing and expanded consciousness. Dr. Kopera introduced the Gross National Trauma Index (GNT), a groundbreaking framework inspired by Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness (GNH) Index. The GNT will quantify the societal burden of trauma across psychological, social, and economic dimensions. This is a radical shift, bringing trauma out of the shadows and putting it squarely on the agenda of global policymakers.
Sarah Hirigoyen, MA is a Holotropic Breathwork® facilitator and psychotherapist. Sarah was educated in Paris and London and received a BSc. in Psychology and a MA in Psychotherapy from City University in London. She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). This form of psychotherapy is designed to help individuals process and recover from traumatic experience. Sarah also has a particular interest in neurodiversity. She has always been fascinated in people and has devoted her professional life to understanding them on a deeper level. While working as a therapist Sarah became curious about the enormous healing power of breathwork and expanded states of
consciousness. In 2015, she received her certification as a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator from Grof Transpersonal Training and was trained by Stan Grof. Sarah has been offering her own Holotropic Breathwork workshops throughout the United Kingdom and the United States. Sarah loves the idea of healing in community and creating a safe space within which healing happens. She attributes
Holotropic Breathwork, and the breathwork community, for the breakthroughs and transformations in her life. That has been the catalyst and motivation for her to invite others to experience the healing potential of Holotropic Breathwork.
